Cherry Blossom Midwives is seeking a Registered Midwife to join our thriving rural practice in the community of Taber, Alberta.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice full-scope midwifery in a supportive, collaborative environment where midwives are highly valued members of the maternity care team. MIdwives in the Taber area support approximately 60% of the births in and out of hospital, with strong long standing relationships with the families and clients.
Our practice maintains positive relationships with local physicians and nurses, creating an exceptional atmosphere for both providers and clients. We have a high volume of water births and maintain a high out-of-hospital birth rate, allowing midwives to fully utilize their skills while supporting client choice.

Position Details and Qualifications
Flexible, open to full or part time
All midwives in the practice currently work in solo/primary model, however option for team based care can be discussed
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Midwives of Alberta
Open to General or New Registrants
Eligible for practice privileges within Alberta Health Services
